How does the professional marketplace work?
Our marketplace connects authors with vetted publishing professionals (editors, cover designers, formatters, etc.). Professionals pay a commission on completed projects. Authors can browse profiles, request quotes, and hire professionals with secure milestone-based payments.
What are the publisher tier features?
Publisher tiers are designed for publishing houses managing multiple authors. Features include bulk management, shared analytics, team collaboration, white-label options, and API access depending on your tier.
How does BookAuth make money?
We generate revenue through optional Pro and Business subscriptions for authors, a small platform fee on book sales (5% Free, 3% Pro, 2% Business), commissions on professional marketplace transactions, and publisher subscriptions. The Free tier will always remain free.
